| Summary | We manufacture, demonstrate and distribute a low-cost, user-friendly solar cooker - the Sunstove. To date, 12,000 Sunstoves have been sold - on a non-profit basis. We are a Section 21, non-profit organisation and the Sunstoves are sold at the cost of their materials plus labout. Our design and material specifications are available to all on our website and we are committed to helping other countries set up similar manufacturing capacity. To this end we ensure that the materials we use are the simplest and most universally obtainable and that as much use as possible is made of recyclables. The design of the Sunstove takes into account the importance of lightness and durability to make it easy to transport and is also really simple to use - no complicated instructions and no assembly required. |
